Who rules
the festival?

The overall Festival Champion ranking uses ranking points, not game scores, because each game scores differently.

For each game, everyone with a score in the selected period is ranked. You earn up to 1,000 Festival Points per game: 1,000 × (players − your rank + 1) ÷ players, rounded. First place (including anyone tied for first) gets 1,000. Games you haven't played in that period count as 0. The maximum is 3,000.

Tied scores share the same rank. Among tied players, whoever reached the score first is listed first.

Days start at midnight Central Time. Weeks start Monday at midnight Central Time. Your best verified score in each period counts, so every day and every week is a fresh competition. All-time records are kept separately.

Each online run gets a one-time code from our server before you play. When you post a score, the server replays your run with the real game rules and calculates the score itself. Runs that can't be replayed are rejected, and unusual runs are held for review. No online leaderboard is completely cheat-proof, and GGE may remove scores that break the rules.
